What would you do with 1000g?

my neighbor has a 800 gallon saltwater tank. he has it built into the wall.
then he has it go down a tube into the basement where all the filtration/osmosis stuff is

then he has a air conditioning system becaus it pumps the water so fast...

one of the fish is a dory (forgot name) and the rest i dont remember he has like 5 3in fish and like 4 8 inch fish


oh yeah he said one of his fish was a fire clownfish or sumtin...

my fish tank would have

10 upside down catfish

10 paleatus (cory
10 panda
10 of the kind i have now
20 hatchetfish
10 otos
4 bristlenose
40 danios
etc.. pretty much a schooling team plus others

I'd have tons and tons of plants and driftwood and stuff. Make it look very natural.

Then i would put 1 big apple snail in it.

I'd charge people $20 a pop to find the snail in 5 minutes. Since money is no option there would be a $1 million dollar prize. I'll make a killing!!!!

I'd have to buy curtains and make sure not to throw stones, but anyway, I need an apartment - can you tell?

You know, I'd rather have a few slightly smaller tanks so I could keep fish that might not get along too well.

....and CFC, there's only something wrong with moles if you have a horse pasture.

Id fill mine with corys,platies and guppys,maybe not very adventurous but very colourful. Just think how many i could get in there.....WOW

I could think of no better way than a full reef tank too. With that much water you could have all sorts of fish that normally dont work together. Either that or about 300 damsels of all different varietys. And one big carpet anenome with a single clown for it. Imagine the lighting you would need for that!

I would do soming ver close to this but charge people extra like $100 dollars to go scuba diving in there and find the snail!



I saw this aquarium at Monteray bay aquarium and it was a 3 story Kelp forest!!!!!


The another one that was 1 million gallons with full sized sharks and stuff....now that would be cool!!

My favorite fish is still the pacu and if I had 1000gal, I would put three in there. Since money is not an option, I would hire someone to come do water changes
