I'm not totally happy with the stock I have i my 30 gal (36lx12wx18h), the stock is: 1 male Sailfin Molly, 1 female sailfin molly, 2 female Dalmatian Mollies, 4 Platy's 1male & 3female, 2 female guppies, 1 Panda Cory.

I'm tired of all the fry so I'm planning on separating the mollies (The Platy's dont have fry, I think th emale haas a problem there)

20 gal:
3 female Mollies
2 female Guppies
(5'x12') divided off part for my male Betta (about 5 gal of space)

30 gal:
1 male sailfin Molly
4 Platy's
1 Panda Cory

Thats my idea of an acceptable division of my stock. I'm thinking I have a decent amount of space in both tanks for some new stock.

My question, with this extra space available, what should I put in the tanks? I'm totally open to suggestions as I want to get stock I've never had before (which is most stock lol)

I'm planning on getting 5 or so more Cory's for my 30gal, but otherwise, I'm totally unsure of what to get, so please suggest away!

(Though I was planing on getting some sort of Gourami for the 30 gal as well) But I know nothing of Gourami if someone who knows were to suggest a breed that would be great :)

If I was you in the 30 I'd add two honey Gouramis ( tougher than dwarf and still look nice)

The cory's as you said and a group of ember tetras ( I don't think they nip I've never seen mine nip at my killifish or cory's) but check because of your sailfin Molly

In your sig your tank has gravel if that's the 30 I'd put sand I instead if you want cory's as gravel tends to damage there barbels

I've changed it to white sand and just haven't updated my signature :p
I was also hoping to get advice on bottom feeders for my 20 gal, are cory's my only option? (They're the only bottom feeder I've ever had)

Khuli loaches are pretty cool I think a 20 gal is fine for a group of them (just make sure tho) if there's a lot of hiding spot or planted

I would switch the male and female mollies. The females will still be dropping fry for another 6 months and the larger tank would work out better for them that way.
