What would you buy with $100?

If you had 100$ to spend on filtration for a 29 gallon tank, what would you buy?
What if you had only $50?

I'd spend $23 of it on an aquaclear 300 power filter rated for up to 70 gallons (or 35 on a 500) and then I'd spend the rest on fish!

Keep it and save up for a canister filter (if you don't have one already).

But then again I'm a boring accountant so don't listen to me - spend spend spend!

Would you recommend buying a fluval 304 for the 29 gallon, or a rena FilStar xP2 or would you hold out for a $160 (approx.) eheim 2026 or a $200 (approx.) 2028? Is the 2028 overfiltration?

Should I just stick with an AC HOB?

Also, do you guys think the Fluval canisters are better than the FilStars?

I would also buy an ac-300 at www.petsmart.com check out the insane prices!

Its called an AC-70 now!!! Same filter new number.
