What would u do for ur fish?

Well it would be pretty near impossible to save my fish if my house where on fire. But I would try to do what I could. But my mom would probably force me out of the house before I could do anything.

my fish are in my fish house about 100 yards from the house so probably wouldn't be a problem (for the fish anyway) if the house burn't down. LOL

if the fire was close to my room i would run if it was elsewhere in the house i would try to save em

remember, fish live in water and if the fire doesn't completely consume your house and ash doesn't get in the water AND the heat doesn't kill them, chances are they will probably live.

I'm sure the heat from the fire would warm the water too much and kill the fish. Not to mention if you have a wood stand that will be toast and your tank would break when it hits the floor.

I'd save all my fishing equipment. I could buy more fish.

When there were those horrible forest fires in Kelowna (interior of British Columbia) this summer, I helped a young guy on another forum; they had been given their evacuation notice (many many homes were lost in the area) and he only had a few hours to pack whatever he was going to take. Luckily, his tank was only 10 gallons, so it was quite feasible for him to pack up his fishies and take them along. I never heard back from him, so I have a bad feeling their house didn't make it. With any luck, his fish did, though!
