Beautiful plec! I wish I had the space. You may want to think about trimming the clown loaches too, they can get to around 30 cm!

It is a beautiful fish and I would love to keep it but it would not be right. The clown loaches got collected last night by a gentlemen on this forum. It took me ages to catch the little things and one of them refused to come out of his hiding place in a piece of bog wood. In the end I had to let him take the bogwood with him.....

i would be keeping the plec and shifting other fish to make room for it. you dont actually have many bottom dwellers on the list, and now the loaches have gone the fish thats going to get biggest is the spotty plec. 7 cories is nothing, though if you found somebody to take the odd ones off you would be better for them, if not not the end of the world. clown plec will stay small, brissy plec wont get too big. and thats it. your overstocking problem is all above bottom level. and that plec is the best looking fish in the tak.

I hear what your saying and the more the days go by, the more I want keep it but if I do it's not giving me much more options for the rest of the tank. I think my plan is to eventually get more cory's and add to the ones I've already got. The cory's have lots of character and are fun to look at, whereas most of the time the black spotted plec is hiding away behind all the bogwood but when he does come out hes also a pleasure to watch so I've just got to way up my options I suppose. Thanks for the feedback!
