Endlers!! Super cute, colorful, active little fish that fit perfectly in my fluval edge 6 gallon!

I was thinking to get some of these, I just love the colours, now do they bread as willingly as the usual guppies because if yes then I won't

endlers and guppies are basically the same fish. keep them in the same way as you would with Guppies .
they will live and cross breed with Guppies. most fancy strain of endlers are hybrids

I just acquired 4 Endlers 1 M 3 F Class P (Appears to be Pure But Has No documentation) they live with my Bumblebee Gobys. Active cute little fish I always wanted Guppies and when I set up my tank for BumbleBees I figured why not.

I have a friend who breeds Endlers ( Class P) and he hates the hybrids (Class K Hybrid Strain) they have just about destroyed the pure Endler strain (Class N Documented Pure Strain) even in the wild because Guppies were introduced into the areas where pure Endlers live.

You should have seen my friends face when I called Endlers " Fancy Guppies" as punishment for my transgression I had to listen to him rave on about Endler classes, Keeping the strain pure and all that then he gave me the 4 fish on the condition that I never allow any other live bearers near them.

And Yes I know they are live bearers and I also know roughly how many fry they will produce every month, Thats where the Gobys come in also a cool fish but kinda fussy when it comes to food, They prefer it live.

I think more fish keepers should keep endlers pure I also have the same view as you and many other fish keepers although endlers and guppies are two different species they're just a type of fancy guppy lol.

I have recently got characodon audax/ Black Prince to add back to my collection of goodeids First imported into the UK in 1985 and still quite rare in the fishkeeping Hobby today, This species can be difficult to get established characodon audax can get very aggressive towards each other and in some cases leading to deaths they should be kept in a well planted tank and or with homemade caves/ hiding places such as small terracotta plant pots. They do well with a tank temperature of 72f fed on plenty of live food a weekly water change. Of 40%. gestation period 6 weeks brood size usually less than 20 fry.

No neither have I he is cute

There are 43 species of these fish . Not all of them are so colourful one very closely related characodon lateralis /rainbow goodeid.

A few days ago she give birth to another 60, I never use fish tank heaters for guppy's I have a well insulated fish house tank temperature throughout the summer months is 24 c I prefer to keep them around about 20 c a fluctuation of a few degrees is also good for them.to keep them in their best conditions some live food should be added to their diet

4 weeks ago I bought six Young D. pusilla 2 males and 4 females I have been feeding them daily on live mosquito larvae and occasionally given them flake food and fruit flies. now coming into good breeding conditions this species will eat most food offered to them any food that drops to the bottom of the aquarium it will be almost in possible for them to pick up

I brought a koi swordtail in the hope of getting some fry similar to her since February she has had 4 broods of fry. she produced some really nice fish but very few looking like herself
