What type of lighting?

So confused....All I wanted to know if my lighting was ok for plants and if it was high medium or low.

15-30 par is low light
30-50 medium, Co2 is needed at around 35

Had the 23w cfl in my new 29 but the algae has already started

Yes id use salvania minima instead and a lid would diffuse. I have floaters at 35 par.

Glass tops are typically estimated to cut par by 10percent. Duckweed grows super quick hard to get out of filters and under rims. Can get messy. Most dont like it. Its a small tank you may like it.

Maybe not do some research its just a pain imo. S.minima is easier to deal with and has nice roots
