Just wondering which vegetable would be the best for my Rams. I already feed them dry and blood worms. I wanted to get some greenage for their diet. Is lettuce any good or should I use something with more nutritional value? Peas? Cucumber? What stands out to the fish? My rocks are sandy and black colored so I want something they can see.

try this ...find a piece of rock which is covered by algae. place it your fav spot....where u can see them. soon or later the rams would nibble at the algae. its not that they like algae, but they are looking for micro food stuff among the algae. so while they are finding food they do get abit of algae between chews.green algae.... are vegie for fishes.

Blanched lettuce is not very nutritional, but try the cucmber. And i also add the occasional piece of blancehed green spinach.

The cucmber should be visible for them. They will soon figure it out anyways!

I feed mine blood worms and brine shrimp once a week. On the other days its shrimp pellets and fish flakes.

almost everything  they loooove the frican cichlid pellets the most though :p
