What To Put In Tank

OK got a three foot tank which will be fully set up in a couple weeks (cycling just now).
I definately want a pair of kribs in the tank but also want an algae eater (mayby a nice snail) and some small fish that stay near top of tank.
Does anyone have any ideas and does anyone know where I can get a male and female krib in edinburgh

Are you doing a fishless cycle? Also by 3 foot? How many gallons because tanks come in diffrent gallons but still could be 3 feet long.

platties are generally top swimming fish and come in all sorts of colours (plus you get babies!) as for algae eater that depends on thank size. You could get a couple of shrimp? bristle nose plec? bulldog plec?

ok on the basis that tank is around 22G (3 x 1 x 1) and it is quite densely set up

I would go with

1 pair of kribs
1 flying fox
1 Bristlenose plec
6 marbled hatchets

if its 14G i highly doubt it is 3 feet

try some killifish they hang near the surface and are really colourful

woohooo ammonia is showing 0 today for first time so another week or so and I can start putting fish in.
Im still looking for any ideas.

ottos for algae eaters?
they are small so won't be a big impact on to what else you can have
