I've been away from home for a few days, and I just got home, and found that my kribs have fry! they were in a tank with guppies and cories, but I have removed those now as they were getting a beating...

So what should I feed them?

And should I remove the fry at some point?

For the first few days or so it isn't necessary to feed them as they live off their yolk sacs. After that, any very small food will work--micro worms, baby brine, as well as finely powdered 'prepared foods'. The parents should be good parents as long as space doesn't become a problem.

I used First Bites by Hikari. They are in an extremely planted tank, I think they were also feeding on the java moss.

They are about 3 weeks old.

Last night I bought a bag of live brine shrimp to feed all my tanks. They were attacking and eating the shrimp. The fry were just a little bigger than the shrimp. It was quite interesting.

I have had a load of kribs now and i have only left two batches with the parents
the first they eat the eggs when the were almost free swimming and the second batch got to about 6 days old then the parents finished them off.
Now i suspect that the reason for this is i have a few rosy barbs that seem to look for the chance to eat them and when they get chased off more of them attack the fry,so the parents dissposed of them again.
Since then i take the eggs out as soon as i can be sure they have laid there batch, although it may risk the pair not breeding again but in my case it hasn't.
Then from there i simply float a container in the tank with the eggs in and without fail twice a day i blow the eggs with an air hose to avoid fungus and any eggs that do get fungus remove immedietly.
When the eventualy hatch and are dissposed of the yolk sacks i feed them crushed flake food(crushed to the point of powder).
When there hungry enough they will eat it.
I hope after saying all this it's not just that i have been lucky(6 or 7 times)

Good luck
