As i put in an earlier post i am going to be moving my little fish friends on a 100 mile journey, which is going to take about 2 hours, anyway, hopefully my little fishies are going to make it down there in one piece, and if they do i dont know what do to about that water, because i know that you are suppose to leave the tank when you first get it for like a week, but how am i going to be able to do this? i would have to leave my fish in the bags,i think then they would die! So should i just put the new water in the tank and add that water that they travelled in?? Hope someone can help me!!!!! -_-

There is no reason to have the tank sit for a week. Fill it up, dechlorinate the water using liquid conditioner, get the temperature up, float the bags, introduce the fish.

So long as you keep the gravel and stuff moist to keep bacteria alive the tank should be fine
