What to do with this plant?

Or you could have just trimmed it in half...it looks like a plant that could pruned into a hedge of your favorite shape.

IF its star grass..with enough light it can be a carpet like plant. I have some and its looking more like a Zoysia grass lawn by the day. So far,I've pinched it to only 2" tall.

Hi, it's an octopus plant. Not sure of the technical name, but if you look up freshwater octopus plant you will see it. I use flourish comp and flourish excel.
Thanks for the I'D.
I love it!
I cut it back. I think I like it. Thanks!
I have an aquarium that had one side Hornwort and the other Anacharis.
They eventually met in the middle.
I would just separate the two clumps to feed, then gently bring them back together.
I have 5 healthy White Cloud Minnows that grew up in that tank.
I thinks it looks great before and after.

I dont think its Stargrass (Heteranthera) ,but does look like Pogostemon stellatus. ANYTHING can be trimmed,no harm in doing it.
