What To Do With My Wood? Scaping Advice Needed.

I've done my best to take pics from various angles of three chunks of wood I'm going to use in my juwel 240. I've no real scheme atm so feel free to go crazy, the beer mat is the size of a normal coaster to give you guys some perspective. Any advice appreciated, thanks!

The first two bits of wood are really nice.  The long wood is perfect for siting at the side of the tank and using the long branch to draw attention towards the centre.  The second would add interesting natural branching detail around the base of the first piece of wood.  I would use these two in combination to create a 'triangular' themed tank, with tall plants around the wooded side tapering to open space on the other side.
 
The third piece of wood is a bit more awkward due to all the cut ends but hopefully you could figure out a way to hide those.
 
And of course, java fern, anubias nana/petite and moss smothering the branches!

Er. An alternate way of saying 'snickering', the second word was something you'd use to denote the opposite of 'front'. And And thanks for the reply, I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to cover them in green (yet), though there will be smaller plants on/near the base.

Ah, yes.  An unfortunately overzealous auto-censor.
 
Try sticking the wood in the empty tank, if you can, and fiddle with it until you feel happy.  Now there's a line that's open to be misconstrued!
 
I'd also try stacking the second bit of wood on top of the first to try to create a larger, more interesting single piece.

Lol I'm so thick I had to look up snickering in the thesaurus to see what the alternative was!!
I'm also useless at aquascaping so I'll leave you in better hands. Great pieces of wood tho!

Ah yes, the word filter can get overzealous at times, but at least it works.
 
It is indeed nice wood. The price on this stuff seems to have come down quite a bit recently locally to me, so I picked up a few bits as well.
 
I agree totally with the comments about anubius/moss etc, that's crying out for some plantlife on it, don't be afraid to combine them into one element. The temptation to spread wood around the tank to maximise the effect is strong, but a more complex bit and an open area create a lot of contrast and a much more interesting bit of wood.
