what to do in a 4ft tank?

got any pictures of the gudgeons or info?

I think I'll end up getting a smaller 4ft tank as I can't finds 100gallon 4ft tank thats 2nd hand, so most oddballs will probable be out the wuestion with the size.

He's in my avatar :D And gets six inches. search the scientific on google.

I agree with dwarfs - those gudgeons look fantastic! I would love some, but we're running out of room.

The only thing you need to be aware of is that gudgeons are jumpers, as dwrfs will testify.

Just make sure you have a well fitting hood.

Yeah, skittish, powerful jumpers. They aren't to afraid of people, but they're just big wimps, who can't defend themselves :p Although they will eat other fish :D

they sure are beutiful!! I really don't have a clue what i want to do with the tank now though, i really want a few types of fish in there which ofcourse won't get on with other more interesting ones!!

I reakon i'll have glass sliding covers then a nice wooden hood so that would stop most critters!!

Gudgeons can go with anything over four inches that isn't to aggressive and won't eat them. Ropefish and butterfly fish are very cool too, although ropes wouldn't mix with plecos -_-
