Okay..

I was curious if anyone recognizes this..

We have bettas and dwarf frogs in this tank.. Too big for an egg for either of them.

But all around it looks like an egg.

It does look egg shaped, but I reckon it's a stone too. Dwarf frogs eggs float at the surface so it can't be that. I'd fish it out and take a look personally I'm to curious!

well, I was thinking we would take it out and put it in a cup or something, and give it a week to see if we've created some sort of monsterous betta frog!!!

Very strange, it will be interesting to see what comes of it.

I would touch it- If its squidgy and soft, remove it and move to a quarantine or something
- If its hard, its a stone. Your choice to keep it or not :D

Betta/frog ... so you have created a hybrid Bettog or frotta

In all seriousness though looks like a random stone to me but keep us posted :D

My girlfriend took it out and said its just a rock.. Frogs musta dug it up. =(

I was excited.

Me too :). I'm going to have to have a large bowl of chocolate ice-cream to get over the disappointment
