What the hell?

Hey people

i got home tonite to find all but 3 of my fish dead.

2 angels, 2 silver dollars, 2 yellow electrics, 1 bristle nose

all thats left are 2 silver sharks and 1 bristle nose

they were all covered in a weird ass white fluff (apart from 1 yellow, he was clean)

they were all a little red around the gils and fins.

they seemed to be fine last night when i fed them...

i have attached a pic of a silver dollar, can anyone tell me what it is

How old is your tank?

take is about 9 months old, only loss prior was an angel from fighting.

my fiance checked the levels a couple days ago and was fine afaik

sounds like a fungal thing, did they have like cotton wool over them?

yeh, thats exactly what it looked like

i have a feeling it may have been the new plants i put in a couple of weeks ago. the lfs i got them from is very reputable tho, got the silver dollars and yellows from them.

one of my silver sharks died last week, he had cotton wool on his body i tried to treat it with some fungal stuff but i didnt catch it in time. he was fine one day, then i noticed it and tried to treat him then the next day it was really bad and he started to stop swimming then he just died
