Joey's almost local and has left a trail of destruction in his wake. I knew him on a forum when he was a beginner bombarding me with basic questions. He's an aggressive guy who blew up his empire, and who craves that spotlight that was once on him. The fighting, martial arts career was predictable, but doesn't seem to be going well. There are so many guys who do that. He's trying to restart his career with fish, and maybe he will. The internet's like a person with dementia, and things get forgotten relatively quickly.
He had a plan when he was young and knew very little about fish - he was going to barrel on through by the force of his personality. He pulled that off. You can't say that kid wasn't driven, and he saw an opening not many people did. He reminds me of an old school TV evangelist. Where he goes now is anyone's guess. He's trying very hard to hit that restart button.
