Hi Guys, some of you may be familiar with the saga of my gourami etc. We rehomed him due to our unsuitable tank, (10 gal hex). Well today we went to visit him in his new home (lfs) due to my distraught 5 year old missing him. We came away feeling terrible and now we're wondering about getting a new tank and taking him home. He would share the new tank with 3 platys, 1 molly and 2 corys. We would like to add some more corys and maybe a couple more interesting specimens. Would this be a good idea in your opinion and if so, what size tank should we consider?

25-30 gallons minimum.

I'm just back from the aquarium shop and have a Juwel 180 in mind. I wouldn't go bigger as I don't have the space. What do you guys think? Would I have a happy kisser in that? The dimensions are 101x41x50cm, 180 litres.

I have that tank & very nice it is too. Its 40 gallons but imho still a bit small for your gouarami. Juwel do a rio 300 which is 350 litres 4 foot long. That would suit you better.

Ok guys, I'll have to give up on the poor kisser then. My daughter will be unbearable! All this because some #118#### sold him to our friend (also a #118#### for not doing his homework!) and the poor fella ended up confined to a 10 gal hex!!!!!!!!! :shout:
