What Size Air Pump?

Hi,

Need to replace my air pump on my 30 US Gallon Planted 4ft tank as it's very slow and old now.

I'm looking on ebay for a replacement but not sure what sort of litres per hour pump I need.

Just something with 2 outlets and preferably as quite as possible (!) will do.

Any suggestions?

id go for the tetratec APS 400 air pump, 2 outlets and very quiet

Bold added by me - for most modern rigs, you don't need an air pump, if you want one, that is different, in which case, what do you want it for?

To oxygenate the tank. The filter does not provide enough air bubbles.
