Hey all. I've got a 75 Gal aquarium with guppys, a big pleco, and a loache. Trying to think of some cool fish that I can put with them all. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What kind of loach do you have? You could add some kuhlis...

I find it hard to find things to go with guppies... Lol. What about some neons or cardinals?

What do you like?

Perhaps some platties? that's what I have with mine and I have necer had any problems with them :)

I like rasboras, personally.they do great with guppies

I love cardinals, so I have quite a few of them. : )
What are platties exactly? (Sorry I'm kinda a fish noobie)
I will look into rasboras, thanks for the tip.

I was thinking maybe a freshwater Octopus or Stingray. But I'm sure that would be a lot of work hehe.

I'm also having a snail problem, so anything that will kill those suckers would be fine with me.

platies are the cousin of guppies  they're just in different genus but they both belong to the same family (Poeciliidae) they are also closely related to swordtails and can hybridize.

They are generally colorful, peaceful and active just keep the gender ratio same with any livebearers.
Hope this helps!

I have a german blue ram cichlid in with my guppies and they get along nicely but they are a more sensitive fish that requires closer maintenance. They tend to get more aggressive in groups but alone my one keeps to herself and leaves my guppies and tetras alone. Cool looking fish too!

I'm getting male guppies with a honey gourami in the next day or two. From what I have researched the two should be fine together. I'm excited!

Thanks to the last 3 posters for adding their thoughts, however the thread was started in October 2013, and we haven't seen the OP online since January, therefore your advice to him will be somewhat wasted.

No more comments, please.
