What Shoal Next?

after a few more weeks and my gouramis get better i am looking at getting a new shoal of fish, as i only have two neon tetras left, i am in a dilema wether to get some more neons or go for another shoal

any suggestions?

my tank is 48ltr (10g)

and is home to 3 honey gouramis and 2 neon tetras x

Personally i'd have a few more neon tetras,

You are fairly restricted as you can't have many more fish in there before you have maxed out on stock, so i'd say another 4 neons or so. Also personally I really like the look of shoaling tetras, neons especially.

Up the neons to 6, and that would be fine.

ok, personaly i carnt see myself getting another shoal, iv always had tetras and even when i went to rummy nose tetras i still had a few neons in. x

i also have a baby neon thats just too cute too get rid of

after everything has cleared up ill get another 4 or so x so it'l add on to 6 neons and 3 honeys altogether (i also am wanting about 2 ottos so might have to do with 5 neons and get 1 or 2 ottos. x so that would be 9 or 10 fish lol x

ottos prefer to be kept in groups so i wouldn't go for them. if you want an algae eater i'd get some shrimp, red cherry shrimp look good.

seen some rummy noses in my LFS today and they were schoaling really well in the sale tank,very impressive sight..im a fan of harlequins myself so will be having 10 harleys in my 240 once its cycled..may have some tetras too but i doubt it
