I was looking at my aunts betta today and it has what looks like white fuzz on the tips of it's fins. I know you like tp know what the water conditions are, but I really don't know. She doesn't know anything about fishkeeping and I'd like to help her out. She has him in a 1.5-2 gal fish bowl, that's about all I know. Can we help her??

sounds like parasites(velvet of fungus).

step one: do 25% water change

step two: add 3-5tblspoons of aquarium(rock) salt. per gallon of water. its called a salt bath, usually kills off any parasites.

step three: if it still persists(wqhich i doubt after the salt bath), add mela fix. natural suppliment, and it'll kill those parasites DEAD!
