What media Fluval 404?

I'm getting a used 125 Gallon tank w/ a Fluval 404. It was originally used for Saltwater so I will be replacing all the media. I just don't know what I should replace it with. Any recommendations would be helpful.

No sponge with the unit , at least .

bio balls , siporax[ I think ?] look like ceramic noodles ,or just about anything that bacteria will colonize on .

though I don't use carbon or amo chips ,they can also be used .
