What Lovely New Piece Of Kit Have You Bought And Then Broken?

I bought a new compact tube for my RSM130, and pulled it from the box...thought it seemed a bit tough - when it finally came out a piece of corrugated cardboard shot out and the bulb had split into two at the join
I hadn't realised it had a central cardboard divider..what made it worse was it was the wrong tube anyway (was told it would fit but it didn't) so a real waste of money
