What Lights For My Juwel 180

I bought my juwel vision second hand tank back in Feb/Mar of this year. The lights dont look very bright so I think they might need replacing and not sure how old they are, what bulbs would you recommend, I have not got any real plants at the moment as I had a breakout of BBA and decided to take the tank back to basics till I had money to purchase a good co2 system, then I will be getting plants again.

So what wattage bulbs etc would I need and what price am I looking at. Is there different brands and are some better than others. Just want to buy right the first time then shell out twice.

Hi Dan,

I have a Juwel Rio 180 and I currently have a Daylight and a Colour tube. My lights are T5 so depending on how old your light unit is, yours maybe T8 or T5. I have always gone for the official Juwel ones so not sure if there are any other brands which would be suitable.
