My boyfriend is looking at upgrading his lights on his Fluval Roma 125l ... it currently has the standard 2 x 20Watts T8 bulbs with reflectors.
He wants to start growing carpet plants (glosso, HC etc), and just be able to grow more of a veriety of plants in general really as he's limited with the current lighting he has
Could someone please recommend what sort of lighting he could go for, I know T5 is the better option so have been looking at a few "over tank" options but there's too much to choose from ... and a bit confusing really
how much wattage would he need to be sufficient to grow carpet plants mentioned above and others?
He wants a complete unit,no DIY as neither of us have a clue when it comes to electrics haha.
Any links to what would be suitable would be most appreciated

2nd Edit Would the Juwel high lite unit for the 125l Rio fit his tank? and would that be suitable for his needs? It is 2 x 28Watts T5
