What Kinda Moss?

What kinda floating moss are the ones they sell at petco? It only says floating aquatic moss and unforchantly the people there don't know squawt. Its rapped around a cork ball I guess and is really green. Anyone have any ideas. Also none of the places around me sell aquatic moss.

yeah, personally i think riccia is better floating, it is more lush and better for fish and fry to hide in etc. and shrimp love it.

its probably java moss.. but i like to anchor mine down by growing it on a piece of mopani or rock so that it does clog up my filter..

thats fine, get out some thread of fishing line and tie it down.

yeh.. that works great but make it very tight so no fish can be caught in it..
there also if you sit a rock on a lump of java moss with moss stick out the sides it will grow over the rock in a ball
