What Kind Of Snail Is This?

hey guys so i recently set up a 10 gallon tank which is currently fish in cycling.

it contains 2 guppies and 1 (mystery)apple snail.

anyways a baby snail has appeared (and i cant find any trace of snail eggs anywhere)

ive heard of some snails that are like a plague, id like to nkow if this is a "plague snail" or a myster or other type of snail..

The snail itself and any of its off spring wont cause problems unless there is decaying matter in the tank, I like snails, they do their fair share by eating soft algae from the walls of the tank and from plants, populations are easily controlled.

Yeah I have them in my tank with no problems, numbers are fairly constant, and full grown specimens are lovely looking

yeah is it able to reproduce asexually though?


i dont need a million little snails in my tank lol
 
No, it produces sexually, it is a hermaphrodite, but two are still required for reproduction.
