My red cherry shrimp colony has loads of shrimp with prominent stripes like yours. None of the original shrimp I bought had the stripe, but the colours have changed over time. I've had the shrimp colony going for two years and in that time, the stripes down the back appeared, but there have been other colour changes as well. The shrimp I started out with were not the best quality, and lately I have seen some colourless ones, but on the flipside I have also seen ones that are very intensely coloured and better quality than the originals.
A while ago i even had some that looked like they were developing purple colouration but they seem to have disappeared. I'll post a photo of my shrimp with the stripes when i get home.
