What Kind Of Pump Do I Need?

I have 55G tank, It's 4 feet long.
I want to make an air curtain along the whole back of the tank, so around 3 feet and half......

First I tried an AquaClear pump, it had two outlets, so what I did was plugged one outlet on the left side of the curtain, and another I plugged in the right side of the curtain.
This worked great but the problem was the pump was way to noisy.....

So I exchanged the AquaClear for a more powerful, and silent Rena 300. It only has 1 outlet but it's supposed to be more powerful then the AquaClear.
The pump is silent but it's to weak, and the bubbles don't come out of all the holes continuously.
I also tried splitting the air tubes and attached them to each side of the curtain, but still diddn't work good.
What do I do? What do I need?Is this possible to do?

I can only suggest, trying one pump at each end!

How does a $20.00 loud aquaclear pump work better then a $70.00 silent Rena.

The rena isn't even half the power..........and it's bigger.
