What Kind Of Leopard Catfish Is This?

If someone could give me precisions it would be greatly appreciated...
At the pet store it was written "Leopard Catfish" but when I went on-line to see how big they get, it seems "Leopard Catfish" is too general a term, and it always comes back to the Cory's. It doesn't look at all like a Cory, and not quite like a Pleco either. I'm pretty sure it's a catfish.
What makes it different from what I've seen so far, are the 2 dorsal bumps and 2 white stripes on his tail (all of the others with him at the store were like that too).
I must also mention that he is very small, barely over 1" at the moment.
Can someone help and tell me precisely what it's official name is so I can do more research on this little guy?

It looks alot like a Jaguar catfish, however he seems to have more barbels then they should have. Try going over to planetcatfish and asking

It's possibly a young Synodontis euptera, but could also be a young hybrid (sperm and eggs are stripped from two adult fish of different species and used to make a cross-breed of the parents).
Assuming it is the former, you will have a fish that will get to around 8-9", is relatively peaceful and safe with other fish and when adult has a large dorsal fin that really stands out!

Thanks, Planet Catfish is a cool site. I like their slogan "...it's a good enough fish for anyone" - are you kidding, this little guy is awesome! He can even swim upside down super fast! For now looks like he's a hybrid quite beautiful and docile and never stops moving. As for his care and diet, so far I'm going with the common denominators for catfish and he's doing great. I just hope he won't get so big I'll have to keep him in the bathtub! Lol

your probably looking at around 8-9 inches.
