My sister's friend has it, as you can see, with goldfish. Apparently it's "fine". Anyway, I'm not sure what kind it is but I think it might be an Orange Thicklip? I'm hoping to be able to tell her that it's agressive so she has to take it back.

Like a lot of people we see, she "doesn't know" what size her tank is but says it's smaller than mine (60L).
So if you can keep them with goldfish, is the PF that are ok in colder water or the Golfish that are ok in warmer water? I don't think she has a heater see as she was told that the PF is a colder water fish
Both Goldfish and Paradise fish are sub-tropical (cold water) species,
a tank around 60L wouldn't be too bad for a single paradise fish so it would be best t persuade her to put the goldfish into a larger tank or ideally pond, leaving her with plenty of space to add a few more sub-tropical species like Mountain Minnows, Danios, and apple snails
How big was your tank? Paradise fish can be really different in temperament...some evil, some rather good citizens. 20 gallon and larger tanks, with lots of plants, seem to allow them to live together without problems in my experience...unless your paradise fish is a really evil #28###!
That said, a larger paradise fish with some of the really small white clouds I've seen recently at petsmart would equal dinner in the PF's eyes.
