hole-in-the-head

It's caused by bad water quality mostly. It's when the sensory pores of larger fish are widened and is also called head and lateral line erosion. Usualy there aren't any symptoms unless it gets realy bad and then it's just general lethargy and erratic or unbalanced swimming. It has also been suggested that an internal parasite is the cause and large cichlids that are fed on live foods are most susceptible.
