o ya i knew what you meant meggie i wasnt offended by it or trying to sound rude...i was just saying i didnt end with an "ugly" betta he was actually in pretty good health and looked amazing for being in a bowl for about 3 weeks

I don't think it's a good idea to recommend someone buys a sickly fish. Sure, if you feel prepared to take that on yourself (if you want to be a humanitarian...but with fish, or something) fine - but not a good idea to encourage beginners, or anyone for that matter to buy a sick fish.

Sorry if this came out wrong! Really sorry! I was suggesting the king betta part, not the SICK betta part! (I just added in that I like to buy the sickly ones because I have experience with it)...sorry if that came out wrong! I wasn't suggesting for jasmeena to buy a sick fish at all!
