YOUR TURN!!!!!!

All my pets are alike!! They all give me joy and happiness in tough times... But shahrazaid my female duck ( in my signature) is always special... I even had shot down a crow that pecked her and hanged him from the palm tree to use him as a warning to all other crows.
My Duck flock is always on top, then comes the chickens, parrots, prarie dogs, rabbits and my FISH!!

I feel bad saying it lol. I have 3 dogs but my newest who is a rescue is my fave. She sticks to me like glue and you can see in her eyes the trust she's put in me. She took over 6 months to trust me and relax. From the moment she came here she sat with me the whole time but still wet herslef if I attempted to pick her up or anything. Now she's fine with me.

My fish :) .

Had pet hamsters then pet rats in the past, and they were really great little animals and i have many fond memories of them, but the fish have always been the consistent pets in my independant/adult life. The last furry animal i had was a female black & white rat called Maya- she lived to 3 years old (really ripe old age for domestic rats) and when she finally passed away i missed her greatly and felt very sad. After she passed away i decided i wouldn't have anymore rats or hamsters for a long time- you grow so attached to them but they only live to 2-3years old :( .

Really far back in the past though i grew up on a farm and i used to have pet chickens (miniture bantams) as a kid- they were the most awesome pets i have ever had and i would do anything to keep them again, but alas the local livestock laws in my neighbourhood do not allow chickens no matter how big the garden is. So no chickens for me. Though i might sneak a pet duck in when my pond is finished :p .

We have two dogs and brilliant in different ways, two cats, two rabbits and I really cannot count how many fish. They all have their own things I love about them. Can really interact with the dogs a lot better than the fish but I still can't choose.

Oh, I forgot about "fluffy" the new addition. A yellow bellied slider. The kids named him that for some reason.

I have 2 cats, Meeko & Molly
Meeko is my fav, i got her when she was 6weeks old for my 18th birthday, she is now coming up 7, she is like my little dog and follows me all over. Molly is 3 and only had her about 10 month. Love them both trillions though, they are my children :)

Also have 2 guinea pigs, gerkin & peanut. Gerkin is cheeky, peanut is shy :)

Out of my fish (well over 100), Paul my platy, first fish, Wisp my female betta & Thai my male betta are my favs, I dont let the others know of my favourites though

my dog Harry is the the first dog ive owned, and hes mint. ive owned plenty of other small pets, like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, cockatoos, stick insects  , but my old corn snake (called Noel - i had just discovered oasis and i was 11) was the best. Noel the cornsnake.

got him as a baby one xmas morning, about 6 inches long, had him about 5 or 6 years i think. he grew through 3 tanks, the last one being my current fish tank in my sig, and evetually got to just over 6 feet long, going by his shed skins. he was mega, i used to let him roam the room, he'd snuggle up in a pile of my clothes or in the bed. he escaped a couple of times, found him once underneath the boiler, and once between my matress and the bed slats

in the tank in my sig, i had a fake plant suction cupped to the length of the back of the tank. heloved getting in it until he got to the point where he got too big and kept falling out. for some reason this didnt stop him trying to get in it.

eventually i had to have him put down as he broke his tail too close to organs for it to be safely amputated, and the break was infected. bad times.

i'll try find a photo of him.

as for my fish, i dont get the whole 'close bond' thing and names for fish, but its difficult to choose a favourite. my Flash plec is probably the most eyecatching fish in the tank, but ive got a big dopey hopolo which is great, and whenever i see the head of one of my banjo catfish poking out of the sand, it always amuses me.

I had a bull snake for a few months. She was the best pet I had ever kept. She was extremely calm for a bull and she was a wild caught. I didnt put the lid on tight enough one day and she escaped, never to be found again. I hope she got out of the house, she would probably be sexually mature this year too.

I also have a dog(if a longhair chihuahua counts as a dog) but it hates me lol

My ratty boy harvey all the way.
Secondly mums dog teddy - whippet bedlington cross, veeeery blond :shout:
Thirdly ferrets - sooooo much fun :fun:
