What exactly do you mean by "cheap?" This is a word that has many meanings and some of them are not positive. If you mean inexpenseve, please say so.
The following are some uses of the word as given on Dictionary.com:
Relatively low in cost; inexpensive or comparatively inexpensive.
Charging low prices.
Obtainable at a low rate of interest.
Devalued, as in buying power.
Achieved with little effort.
Considered of small value.
Of poor quality; inferior.
Worthy of no respect; vulgar or contemptible.
Stingy; miserly.
A fish for under a fiver, youve got to be kidding right
Most cheaper fish are schoolers so by the time you have bought enough to form a school it has cost well over £5, i really cant think of a single solitary fish that costs under £5 that i would buy.
You are right that my favorite fish are corys. Not all of them are inexpensive though, and they do need to be kept in schools, so the cost of having them can add up.
inexpensive.. i was at a seminar from hagen last night.. and the guy doing it asked what an advantage of a $10 heater was in comparisin to a $30 heater.. i said cheaper and he was shocked.. and made sure to inform everyone they werent 'cheap'.. they were 'inexpensive'
