What Is Your Fav Schooling Fish?

Exodon Paradoxus without a doubt.
If you want to see some true shoaling characteristics, watch a tank full of these guys. Non stop action. This species never gets boring.

These fish Exodon Paradoxus i have seen on youtube awsome video. Could you put them with cichlids or other peaceful fish like loaches and catfish?

the video links are not working :(

exodons are a monotypic characin. meaning, they are their own species. characins are everything from piranhas to neons, but they are much closer to the first than the second. they are commonly referred to as "tetras", but this is a very misleading term. besides the addition of an adipose fin, they are nothing like the "tetras" you know.

generally speaking, exodons are best kept in a species only tank, as they are aggressive even towards each other at times. there are a few other fish that can be kept with them if done properly, however things like cichlids will not work. one or the other will end up dead.

I found some really nice looking cory's they weren't albino, bronze or peppered, they had designe and stripes on them though. Going to purchase a shoal of 4, i could have bought them today but i faced my 4ft tank the wrong way where it had more scratches from previos owner. So going to do the change over today and bring them in tomorrow.
