i get the same thing all of the time...

Hey, same here!! Any time my mother sees all of my tanks/aquariums/terrariums she's always saying, "You need to get rid of some those critters!" I'm just like, "Why do you care?" but hey, she's a mother, what can I say? Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

My husband has put caps on how many tanks I can have going or how much stuff I can buy but now we have a system down. When ever we get into a fight or he does something that he knows is not ok than I get fish stuff. For example, I don’t like him getting to tipsy/drunk more than a few times a year (he works at a restaurant/bar late night and this is hard for him) so if he does and I get livid I set up a tank. Or if he doesn’t clean out the cat boxes in a timely manner I get fish stuff. The past month I’ve set up two 10g and bought sand…he’s been a bad boy!

I wasn't really into fish until my boyfriend surprised me with a 10 gallon aquarium. Now I love them and am looking to upgrade to a 20 gallon next month...maybe even 29 if I can find room for it.

Don't you love it when they "forget" something thats a standing rule then its that they did it by "accident" then its that they didn't do anything wrong, then its that its your fault and they have completely exonerated themselves and there actions have no consiquences. Thats why if I rules the world I'd knock off every man but myself, the world would be much nicer.
