What Is Wrong With My Platys

hey i have platys in a 40 gallon tank i just setup a little while ago maybe 4 weeks. I put my 55 gallon filter in it to get the bacteria in the tank. every thing was fine but just recently i noticed many problems, my once pregnant platy got super skinny over night! she way beyond not pregnant i mean skinny shes having trouble moving shes also has a white worm thing coming out of her its long and thin could it be parasites. A common guppy also had severe ick but i treated him ( his tail is see trough now )! I had parasite tabs that i put in there but no improvement what should i do. all the other platys that had this have died oh yeah it does not just happen to platys it happens to most of my danios which are gone all but 2 which are spawning

Are you sure that your pregnant platy hasn't already given birth without you noticing? Where abouts is the 'white worm' coming from on the fish's body?

i know she hasnt given birth and the white worm she is pooping them out. i will try to get a photo of her she is now so skinny her head is wider than her body
