What is wrong with my first ct boy

Hi guys... Over the past few days, I've noticed that my first ct that I ever bought used to flare alot and now.... no matter what I do... he doesnt flare! I tried to put a mirror with him... I put a female in a jar and set her into his tank for a while, I placed him beside my other male but he will still not flare! is he sick?? but i dont think he is because he is eating normally and things

see, a few days and the water change over a week ago.

Water changes every 2-3 days in an unfiltered tank... How do you go about doing your water changes?

well i would say give him a day, maybe he's just tired, i dout he's gunna kill over anytime soon, if he continues to act like that then add melafix, it is safe even if u over do it by accident or if hes not sick it shouldn't bother him much
