What is this?

i have one of them in my big community and he just cruises around not bothering anyone, pretty sure he is fully grown he is about 27cm i think, looks very pink and feeds out of my hand ! He was in a tiny tank at a local pet shop they gave him to me for £10 - think he had got too big ! could i put smaller kissers in there or might it prompt him to be aggressive ?

Some can be pretty aggressive. I had one when I was young that killed very many fish.

Thanks for the input, folks! No, I've never seen one before (hence why I asked lol) and yes I have a 55gallon tank standing empty that I can put him in. While it's cycling he's hanging out in one of my 20gals.

I hope he does well, too - I'm already sorta fond of him. Been doing a lot of reading on what to put in there with him. I just moved into this house 2 weeks ago so wasn't quite ready to set this tank up again - oh well! Let the fun begin.
