What is this thing on the glass, wood and plants? Parasite?

No issues with water, some fish fighting ich so temperature currently on 30

A few days ago I spotted those tiny white dots on my Co2 dispenser but didn't think much of them and just cleaned them. Today I noticed more, on the glass, on wood and on plants. What are those things?

They are all white, don't seem to move, not easy to remove. Size is like 1-1.5mm, very smol. None of my fish have that attached to them and I only seem to be able to spot them by the Co2 dispenser, none on the other half of the tank.

I have shrimps (amano and cherry) and a few nerite snails, but I doubts those things are related?


EDIT: I did search google, lots of people mention that in their marine tanks, but mine is just tropical so unsure if those things can be the same

Nerite snail eggs.

They won't hatch, and aren't harmful, but some find them annoying (including me).

Can I somehow trigger the hatching? They do require salty water I believe? I wonder if I could maybe set up a spare little tank for them and just move the entire piece of wood but then not too sure what they would eat I can just clean them when I do tank maintenance.

Thank god they are not some sort of a vile parasite though, I'd absolutely just sit and cry at this point

LOL....not a parasite, I'm fairly certain of that.

There's no way to "trigger" the hatching, they require very special water conditions, and usually the eggs aren't viable (fertilized), anyway.

You can remove them if they annoy you, but the snails will just lay more of them...

Nah atm there is only a few so I don't care, by the time the snails move to lay more eggs they will likely be all eaten by my clown loaches anyway so somehow I am not too worried

Strictly speaking, each white dot is not an egg, it's a capsule containing dozens of eggs.

Oh I meant my loaches will eat the snails, so they won't really have a chance to lay more eggs

Yep, scrape them off and let the tank mates eat them if they like ‘em.
