I’ve never heard of that, but atleast it’s not one of the fishes being sick or anything! Just a new cleaning routine I gotta do
My hoses are actually still pretty long.. maybe I should trim them to help?
Cleaning the hose is not a weekly or monthly routine, maybe every once in a while when you see build up of this stuff or when the hose gets real dirty.
Just good fishkeeping practice to keep everything clean and in order just like doing weekly water changes, it’s for the benefit of the livestock
