Thorichthys maculipinnis, only to find out one was different..

What fish is it?

Also a pic of the actual one. Can anyone tell the gender?

Pic 3 kinda looks like a ram to me but ive never kept a fish bigger than a betta before so I have 0 knowledge of what I consider big fish

The first 2 pics arent right? The pattern is all wrong. 3rd is the one i think is an ellio.

Mhmm yeah i was thinking geo too. Jist not sure which one. The build is more like those.

No idea until it's positively identified. It could be mature, in which case it looks female. But if it's a young fish, it could be male or female.
