What is this fish?

I've owned kribs before; I was just going off of someone else statement that it was a fat male. I couldn't see a good picture of the fins which I use to identify sex (though most mature healthy female also have a red belly which that fish does not). Given the quality of the photos i will make no first hand comment on if it is a male or female. I currently have 4 females and (finger crossed) no males - i had to get rid of my male because well when you put females with males you get (and this is an accurate count) a gazillion kribs.
I thought she was a male too. She also does have a red belly but it’s so damn hard to get a picture of her as she’s always in some ornament

Actually earlier when I was trying to get some pictures of her I did manage to snap some with the red showing!

If the tail fin is not a diamond and the fish is mature (around 4 inches) it is a female. Just don't get a male unless you want a gazillion and 1 more kribs. Hum. When I get home I can post some pictures of my krib pair hearding frys.

I don’t think I’ll find her a partner 🤣🤣 Really don’t want to be overrun with more of them 🤣 plus she seems to be doing fine on her own, she just stays in her submarine minding her own business

But definitely show me some pictures of them, I’m intrigued to learn more about them, especially since I’ve had this one for over a year now

Here is one - let me know if you want more; Note the cave she is in is not the 'home' cave - it is just a spot she would take them to eat... (they are in front of the cave blended with the substrate). Their home is more interesting - it is a hole she dug beneath a piece of drift wood.
