What Is This Fish?

Two platies I've had (both died sadly) had bodies shaped like this. My other two adults are much rounder.

The body looked a bit more elongated to me, but it might just be the angle. 
 
Its probably a hybrid (are there any pure platys or pure swords even in the trade anymore?).

True most swords and platies have been crossed to develop the colour's. Same is true for endlers, no shop endler is true, there all guppy cross.
 
I've kept many wild platies and currently have 2 types of wild swordtail, I can say this is a platys type and be 99.99% sure

I was about 50% sure, because to me it was either a swordtail or a platy.  If it was a male, it would be much easier to identify 100.00%.  (Why can't the females have the swordtail as well?!)
