What Is The Smallest Fully Grown Plec?

errrrrrrr hang on dont write off my remarks!!
check out house of picses on stratmartine road in dundee,,, its huge

The only plec to my knowledge that would be close to 4 foot would be an adonis, reports of 1 meter and are absolutley stunning.... pitty they do get to big :(

Hmm I read about the clown plec being shy. I'll have a look for a lepoard frog plec as when I first saw it a couple od weeks back on the net I did think it was the most attractive! still plenty of time to look while cycling hmph

Ive never come across any reports of commons getting past 28 inches i think it is but i could be wrong, however i doubt if one would get to 4 foot in a home aquarium but i would never rule out bigger in the wild.... adonis is not mistakable hun if it was one then it would have like a lyratail (sp) sort of thing dont know scientific name lol :p

ignore us at ur own risk geoff!

hey :p lol

Raphael catfish don't get huge, altough i think they can be really shy. Don't have one but i think they are pretty nice looking.

Anyway i would stay clear of tiger barbs if you are planning on setting up a community tank. Will nip anything with long fins to death. They look nice but are very nippy.

Rubber nose pleco's stay quite small around 3 1/2 inches I believe
