here they are about £1.50-£2, neons are £1.20 and the cardnals are so much betetr quality. I have 3 big fish shops near me (big for my area) so they may have competition so they lower

$2.99 each around here. The problems that I've heard with cardinals are that most are wild caught and used to very low pH water. Even R/O is a hell of a lot harder than what they're used to swimming in. It's the reason I've gone with neons.

At work, £1-75 each, 5=£7.50, compaired to neons;

£1-25 each or 5=£5

The cardinals are small though, about 1cm each...

Prices vary from place to place around here, most expensive I have seen are large cardinals (3cm) for £3.15 each or 10 for £30, medium (2cm) ones for around £2 each and small (1-1.5cm) ones for £1.50 each.

Neons vary as well, cheapest 55p - most expensive £1.50.
