What is The Bubble For

I Have heard about this bubble above the gravid sopt but I dunno what it is or what its for. I can see it on each of my 4 females. Can anyone offer anything?

its the swim ballder to help it swim but also helps to push out the fry when the time comes

What he said is exactly what I would so to. Every Female fish I have wich are 3 female platies and 1 female guppy.
