I've read in a few different fish species that their diet includes Spirulina. I don't know what this is. I tried to look it up online and all these vitamin and diet sites came up and it seemed like it was a product for metabolism. Is is something fish eat too? Can someone please provide me with more info on this? It'd be much appreciated. Thanks! :D

spirulina,as far as I know is an algae-based food. it is marketed in
health-food stores as blue-green algae.as for fish,it is a big part of the diet
of certain herbivores.it is also one of the ingredients of many flake foods.

It uis a blue green algae and very healthy for your fish it's commonly marketed for people to eat two and has been collected for food since ancient times, It contains pigments in it which will improve colors in your fish, and is great addition to the diet of most herbivourous, and algae eaters diets
